Medical Device Production Manager, Costa Rica

Guidepath Medical is seeking an energetic leader to head a team of operators and supervisors to manufacture medical devices in Costa Rica. This person will be responsible for the entire manufacturing operation, from importing raw materials, processing components, and shipping out finished goods. This person will report to the site General Manager.

This Production Manager will be immersed in setting up and running a manufacturing facility in Costa Rica from the ground up. Applicant must be able to manage the disassembly and packaging of an existing manufacturing line in the United States, and ship to our new facility in Costa Rica. Applicant will then manage the installation, qualification, and startup of the manufacturing line. Spanish immersion and instruction will be an integral part of the transfer. Applicant must be willing to move to Costa Rica for a minimum of 3 years.

Qualifications include:

• Previous medical device manufacturing experience is a must. Preferably 2-5 years in a leadership role, with experience in processing finished medical devices.
• Must be hands-on; experience with extrusion, coatings, and medical device packaging
• Mastery of GMP techniques
• Proficient in excel, word, ERP systems
• Proficiency in English, working knowledge of Spanish
• A minimum of a 4-year college degree from an accredited university will be accepted
